Purchasing
Consumables are single-use items that must be resupplied when the 'Mech returns from a mission. All consumables cost 40,000 Cbills or 15 MC. There is no difference in capability of consumables bought by either method. Within the MechLab, select the "Consumables" tab and drag the consumable of your choice onto one of the Empty Slots. By default a 'Mech has two available consumable slots, but more can be equipped via the Skill Tree.
CoolShot
Removes 14 heat from you 'Mech over 1 second. If two CoolShot are carried there is a 50 second cooldown after the first before the second is available. Can be modified via the Skill Tree.
Strikes
Artillery Strike
Calls in a barrage of long range artillery. Ten shells drop in a circular pattern around the targeted area after a seven second flight time delay. Each shell does up to 165 points of damage to a 'Mech. Can be modified via the Skill Tree.
Air Strike
Calls in a fighter airstrike on a targeted zone. Six bombs drop into the targeted area after a seven second flight time delay. Each bomb does up to 165 points of damage to a 'Mech. Can be modified via the Skill Tree.
UAV
An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle used for reconnaissance with a 240 meter radius and lasts for 60 seconds. Can be modified via the Skill Tree.
Skill Tree Nodes
Within the "Auxiliary" node of the Skill Tree are options to upgrade consumables.
- Consumable Slot
- Adds an extra consumable slot. Four nodes are available, but only five consumable slots are possible.
- Enhanced CoolShot
- Increases CoolShot efficiency by 15% per node. Two nodes are available.
- CoolShot Cooldown
- Reduces CoolShot cooldown duration by 25% per node. One node is available.
- Adv. Salvos
- Increases the duration of Air/Artillery strikes by 15% per node. Two nodes are available.
- Expanded Reserves
- Allows an additional strike to be carried into battle per node. One node is available.
- UAV Duration
- Increases the duration of UAVs by 10 seconds per node. One node is available.
- UAV Range
- Increases the range of UAVs by 20% per node. Two nodes are available.
- Extra UAV
- Allows an additional UAV to be carried into battle per node. One node is available.
