: Disrupt mode: reduces range that enemy 'Mechs can scan and increases time for target lock.  Provides this protection over a "bubble" around the equipped 'Mech.  Blocks enemy Narc beacons from near-by friendly 'Mechs. Enemy 'Mechs will display "Low Signal Strength" and flickering targeting information.  Counter mode: Can be configured to cancel nearest enemy ECM.  Uses the dedicated ECM hardpoint.
